The annual Design event of NID MP is organised under the theme “Mosaic”. Due to the ongoing COVID 19 pandemic, MPDU will be organised online this year from the Institute’s campus at Acharpura, Bhopal.
The Design Utsav is a step towards bringing India’s Design spectrum together and provides an opportunity to businesses, design students, Government functionaries and the general public to interact with design professionals from all over India and the globe. Mosaic also acts as a medium where those who are inclined towards design can have enriching & meaningful interactions.
Speaking on the occasion, Professor Dhiraj Kumar, Director, NID Madhya Pradesh said that MPDU will showcase an impressive array of exhibition of student works, symposium, workshops, competitions, design orientation and counselling sessions and cultural performance. He said that in the current COVID-19 scenario, we need to find innovative ways of applying design thinking and human-centered design principles to come up with relevant ways to solve problems faced by industry and society. Some of these issues will be discussed during the Design Utsav.
